Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 City of Greater Dandenong’s Australia Day Awards. The winners were recognised for their service to our community in a special ceremony at Dandenong Park as part of the Australia Day Festival on Saturday 26 January 2019.

  • Young Leader of the Year - Prachi Rane
  • Volunteer of the Year - Joint Winners: Susan Anderson and Weda Mohseni
  • Leadership Award - Kim Culpin
  • Multicultural Award - Richard Lim OAM
  • Sports Person of the Year - Jessica McCulloch
  • Corporate Citizen of the Year - Todd Hartley
  • Sports Hall of Fame Award - Craig Ortland
  • Community Hall of Fame Award - Ludmila Karganova

Craig Ortland has been involved with the Noble Park Cricket Club for 40 years.
Jessica McCulloch is a young Special Olympic Basketball Athlete.
Kim Culpin was dedicated to servicing the community for many years in her first job as a Senior Detective with Victoria Police.
Ludmila Karganova has been a volunteer with Council since 2006.
N.R. Wickiramasingham (Wicki) has been heavily involved in community life since arriving in Australia 29 years ago.
Prachi Rane says she is “passionate about helping others” and has made it her personal mission to assist others in the communit
Richard Lim OAM came to Australia in 1980 after escaping the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia.
Susan Anderson has been mentoring young drivers through the L2P program since 2014.
Todd Hartley from Hilton Manufacturing is recognised for his corporate and community contributions.
Weda Mohseni is an active member of the community and has been involved in multiple projects run by community organisations.
