In order to improve our advocacy for new public transport, Council often provides data and community views to the Department of Transport to enable them to make the best decisions regarding public transport changes, and ensure these meet the needs of the Greater Dandenong Community.
Council also advocates to the Department of Transport encouraging them to undertake their own consultation with the community prior to network changes.
Recent changes in travel patterns and demands have impacted the use of public transport, and buses in particular. As a result, Council is undertaking a survey to explore current issues and opportunities with the local bus network throughout Greater Dandenong.
You can complete this survey using the link below or alternatively contact Council with suggestions for improvements to the public transport network by emailing PTAdvocacy@cgd.vic.gov.au.
