Have your Say on the Springvale Community Hub
The new Springvale Community Hub is opening soon.
We can’t wait to introduce you to the new community heart of Springvale. The hub will provide a variety of learning, leisure and cultural opportunities.
It will include flexible community spaces, a modern, state-of-the-art library featuring new technologies and equipment, customer service area and plentiful parking. The outdoor green spaces will be extensively landscaped and allow for a variety of passive and active recreation uses, playgrounds, BBQ’s community events and social gatherings.
Earlier this year Council developed and endorsed a Strategic Plan for the Springvale Community Hub, informed by extensive community consultation. Now we want to hear from you again as we work towards developing an Action Plan to achieve our shared vision and goals for this new community centred place.
The Springvale Community Hub will be a community centred place of connection. To achieve this Council will facilitate management of the hub, working closely with local community. This will involve taking a proactive place-based community development approach, working with individuals, community groups and other stakeholders to fulfil the vision of the hub
We need your help now to let us know how you would like to stay involved in contributing to and activating this new community hub and help shape the programs, activities and events held at this site. This information will be valuable in identifying priorities over the next 12-18 months to achieve our shared vision for this important community place.
