Styling Up with Confidence, a project developed by Springvale Learning and Activity Centre (SLAC), aims to assist people to make a great first impression. Michelle Trifunov, the style expert bringing the vision to life, strives to inspire confidence, trust, and empathy in every interaction.
Operating out of CoCOs, SALC’s pop-up shop located in the heart of Dandenong, Michelle understands the importance of building strong relationships and ensuring that each client feels their best. With her extensive career as a hair stylist it was natural to combine her experience with her passion for achieving positive outcomes for her clients by taking on this new role, styling people for career success.
Having styled numerous clients over the past 18 months, Michelle has witnessed the transformative power of a new outfit. Remarkably, between 70 to 80% of her clients have gone on to successfully secure the jobs they received styling for, and then interviewed for. Styling Up with Confidence goes beyond just preparing individuals for job interviews; it also serves as a source of confidence and empowerment, regardless of the situation. A recent visit from a vision impaired client ended with him brimming ear to ear after a successful styling session showcasing that sometimes it’s the feeling a new look can give us.
Michelle's goal is to provide styling services to as many individuals as possible. It's an incredible offer - free clothes, free styling - with the only requirement being a brief satisfaction survey. If you know someone who could benefit from a confidence boost, encourage them to visit Michelle at CoCO's for a personalized styling consultation and a fresh new look.
