I was born in Dandenong and love living here, however, I notice there are many issues that need to be addressed.
As a Physical Education/Health teacher, I know there is a need for Council to improve our open space strategy, increase our tree canopy coverage, increase and improve the sports facilities as well as upgrade many of our playgrounds.
I’m extremely passionate about providing more park amenities and improving health outcomes in our community. Many of the capital improvement bids I have requested are starting to come to fruition. Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback regarding upgrades to parks across Greater Dandenong. Recently we held consultations for Bakers Road Reserve, Browns Road Reserve and Madison Reserve. Please continue to to have your say on other reserves as we ensure everyone’s needs are met.
I’d like to remind Noble Park North residents that we have many weekly programs running at Jan Wilson Community Centre, including Zumba, adult exercise and simply fitness classes for $6 per session. I would like to see residents utilising these great programs and looking after your health and wellbeing.
