Council is rolling out new look trucks to help keep our city clean.
The eye-catching trucks share key messages about what doesn’t belong in your kerbside collections.
The general waste truck features the message to keep batteries out of bins. Batteries in bins can cause fires in your bin or in the trucks.
The recycling truck asks residents to keep your recycling loose. Items in bags can’t be sorted and will be sent to landfill.
The food and garden waste trucks encourage residents to add food scraps in with your garden waste. Food and garden organic waste is turned into compost for use by Council and farmers.
You can help our waste and recycling efforts by ensuring you follow the tips on our trucks.
