We’re excited to introduce the Walker Street Gallery Shop—a space where art meets community, and creativity becomes something you can wear, carry, and celebrate. What started as a playful ‘what if’ in a strategic planning meeting has turned into a reality, blending the heart of Greater Dandenong’s arts scene with the energy of local talent.
Our debut collab sets the tone. We teamed up with Paulina Zamorano, a Chilean-Australian multidisciplinary artist and the creative mind behind Zam Studio. Known for her wearable art and bold visual designs (and even a collab with Converse), Paulina brought her unique flair and sustainable approach to the table.
The design brief was simple: capture the essence of Arts in Greater Dandenong. Together, we dreamed up something fresh, meaningful, and undeniably cool.
Here’s what makes this design pop:
- Top Left: The phrase la obra de arte (Spanish for “the work of art”) threads through a needle.
- The Flow: It morphs into a sketched map of Greater Dandenong, threading our stories together, stitch by stitch.
- The Finish: Wrapping around, it lands on for the makers and the dreamers. It’s a celebration of creativity, grit, and community pride. Inviting you to be part of the story.
Staff cab check out the original artwork at the Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre, but the real magic is in the merchandise. These are small-run, limited-edition pieces —when they’re gone, they’re gone.
The shop isn’t just about cool gear, it's a platform for local and exhibiting artists, nurturing and supporting their work of art. It’s a space where creativity fuels connection, and every purchase tells a story.
