About Jim
I’m a proud Dandenong resident of more than 50 years. A father of three and grandfather of six, Dandenong is home to four generations of my family. I was first elected to Council in 2005 driven by my desire to change perceptions of Dandenong. Since that time, I have served as Mayor five times and have been privileged to be involved in a number of key milestones for the city. I am most proud of the Dandenong Civic Centre (completed in 2014) and the Springvale Community Hub (completed in 2020). I remain committed to achieving the best possible results for everyone who lives and works in our diverse community.
