The Master Plan for the Dandenong Civic Precinct including the Dandenong Market was endorsed by Council in late 2007.
Some recent changes have occurred to the existing land use conditions in this precinct including the relocation and demolition of the library and the maternal child health services, the construction of additional market car parking, and the relocation of the civic centre.
It should be noted however that the master plan details possible future land use changes in the precinct.
