Pattern Play Collage

This workshop is all about pattern play, layering and collage but not as you know it.

Participants will be invited to create a mixed media art piece using magazine clippings, washi tapes, poscas and paints. Set yourself up with a cup of tea, treats and your favourite art materials and enjoy this online workshop facilitated by artist Yaz Gaté.

This workshop is suitable for all ability levels.

Participants will require the following:

• Magazine clippings (preferably with one person on it)
• Washi tape (pattern and plain if possible)
• Poscas
• Sharpies
• Paper suitable for acrylic paint (A4)
• Acrylic paint
• Paper plates or palettes for mixing
• Brushes
• Jar with water
• Paper towel
• Pencil
• Glue stick
• Rubber
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Any other mediums that you love that could be added to a collage.
