Join us in celebrating Reconciliation Week 2025 which will include a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by a local Bunurong Elder.
This event has become an inaugural opportunity for schools within our municipality to come along and join in several engagements, cultural immersion activities, in celebrating the meaning of Reconciliation week with various activities delivered via the Bunurong Land Council.
There is something for everyone to engage and connect to, Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, followed by Storytime in the Library with Bunurong Elder, Ganga Giri Yidaki performance for all, youth-based activities and community led arts-based activity workshops with the theme of Bridging Now Until Next.
All are welcome.
