As part of the Sustainable Saturday series, this two-hour workshop, will teach you how to make your own loom from items lying around your home before trying various weaving techniques and knotting styles.
The workshop will give you an opportunity to experiment with colour and texture, resulting in a beautiful, unique wall hanging to take home.
Everything you need to be supplied. However, if you have a special piece of fabric, trim or item that you would like to include in the project please bring that along so that it can be incorporated and designed around.
A Fitting Connection will also be collecting scrap fabric for recycling.
Spaces are limited so it’s best to book early. Tickets on sale Sunday 5 January at 10.33am.
