Growing bushfood in your backyard provides important habitat for animals and food for you to enjoy.
This project is about providing a bushfood trail in our Sense Trail at Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve.
The trail will showcase a range of edible natives with educational resources for visitors and schools groups.
It will also enhance the education and engagement opportunities at Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve by raising awareness of local ecologies and indigenous edibles, which can be transferred to people’s backyards and also encourage animals such as our local Blue Tongue Lizards.
