A range of public transport options are available for residents throughout Greater Dandenong. The train stations in Greater Dandenong are Dandenong, Yarraman, Noble Park, Sandown Park and Springvale.

Community Transport Service
The City of Greater Dandenong's Community Transport Service provides transport services to the frail, elderly, and people with poor mobility in the Greater Dandenong community.

Bus shelters
Under the Road Management Act 2004, Public Transport Victoria (PTV) manages all bus stop facilities such as shelters and seats.
To request a new bus shelter, contact PTV. Council will forward any requests it receives to PTV.
Even though PTV is responsible for bus shelters and seats, Council has installed some as well. Council will continue to maintain any shelters and seats it has installed for the life of the shelter or seat.
