Little Day Out

Little Day Out, is returning this year, with this year’s theme “The Great Outdoors”. 

  • Date: Sunday 22 September
  • Time: 11am–4pm
  • Location: Ross Reserve, 9 Memorial Drive, Noble Park
  • Cost: Free entry

The event includes amusement rides, performers, entertainment stage, outdoor activities, interactive activities, workshops as well as food, market and community stalls.

Getting there:

To help reduce carbon emissions, we encourage participants to travel using public transport or by carpooling with friends and/or family.

  • Travelling by Train: Noble Park Railway Station is connected to the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines. The event is a 10-minute walk to and from Noble Park Railway Station.
  • Travelling by Bus: The closest bus stop to the event is the 811 line, located at Memorial Drive/Heatherton Road. Additional nearby bus stops include 709 and 816 lines, located at Noble Park Railway Station as well as Frank Street and Douglas Street.
  • Travelling by Bicycle: Bicycle parking is available at the Ross Reserve Pavillion. Please secure your bicycle with a lock on arrival.
     

Parking:

Public parking is available at: Noble Park Railway Station and Frank Street Public Car Park.

Please observe and comply with parking restrictions.

Activities:

This event will feature something for everyone to enjoy including:

  • Make Your Move Sports Zone - some and try a variety of Sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, and karate) led by Melbourne City Football Club, NRL, and AFL Victoria
  • Drawing competition
  • Farmyard interactive session and reptile display
  • Face painting 
  • Amusement rides including trackless train, UFO bumper cars, cup and saucer and soft play area (fees apply for $4 - $6)

Noble Park Aquatic Centre Open Day:

South East Leisure is hosting an Open Day at Noble Park Aquatic Centre, where children (0-12 years) can enjoy free swimming on the day. Please be aware that parents will still need to pay a spectator fee for entry.

Hydration Station:

Bring your own water bottle. Hydration station is available at the event and has been provided by South East Water.

Can I bring my pets to the event?

If your pet is uneasy around children, other animals or loud noise, please consider leaving them at home.If you decide to bring your friendly pet, they must always be secured with a lead during the event.

Do you have accessible parking bays, toilets and entry points?

There are accessible parking bays along Memorial Drive. Accessible toilets and ramps are located at the Ross Reserve Pavilion.

Is there a quiet and Low sensory space available?

A quiet and low sensory space will be available within the Ross Reserve Pavilion. Please contact our team at the event for access.

Are there age restrictions for the rides and do I need to pay admission to go on the rides?

Please observe event signage and speak with staff at the ticket booth for more information on age restrictions and ride fees.
