Celebrate the conclusion of 2024 and kick off 2025 with a bang at the unforgettable New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Dandenong.
This year the event will be held at Wilson Oval, Dandenong Park (entry from Pultney Street).
Wilson Oval will be the best viewing point for the fireworks display scheduled for 9.25pm. Here you will also be able view the Main Stage program with amazing multicultural performances, or delve into an array of mouth-watering food trucks, stalls and unique market vendors.
Grab your picnic blanket, pack your water bottle and gather your loved ones for an epic night of community fun and New Year’s magic in Dandenong.

How do I get to the event?
The event is located at Wilson Oval, 95 Pultney Street, Dandenong.
This location is a 1.2km walk from Dandenong Bus and Train Station (approximately 17 minutes).
Bus routes 828, 844, 892, 893, 981 operate in close proximity to the event site.
Will there be parking available at the event?
There is no designated event parking available and there will be road closures in surrounding streets.
If you must travel by car to the event, try your best to car share and be aware of potential traffic congestion.
There is parking available at Dandenong Market and Dandenong Square Shopping Centre. Please do not park illegally or block any residential driveways. You can report illegal parking by contacting Council on 8571 1000.
Will there be toilets available at the event?
Yes, there will be portable and accessible toilets available at the event.
Is alcohol permitted?
No, this is strictly a no alcohol, no smoking/vaping and no drugs event.
Where should I go if I am feeling overwhelmed by the music or large crowds?
There will be a designated quiet space available at the event. Please ask our friendly staff or security for assistance on the evening.
Will there be an ATM available at the event?
No, although many vendors will accept EFTOS, you can withdraw cash from an ATM on Lonsdale Street prior to attending the event.
Will there be midnight fireworks?
No, there will only be one firework display on the evening which will take place at 9.25pm.
Where is the best place to view the fireworks?
The best viewing spots will be at the event site on Wilson Oval and throughout Dandenong Park
Can I bring my pet to the event?
Yes, pets are welcome at the event but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please be mindful that the fireworks will take place at 9.25pm and many of our furry friends will not enjoy the loud noises.
