Planning Scheme Amendment C233gdan

The Minister for Planning was the responsible authority for the combined planning scheme amendment and planning permit for surplus rail land at Noble Park Station (51A Douglas Street, Noble Park) as part of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Integrated Development Opportunities. The amendment rezoned vacant land from Transport Zone 1 (TRZ1) to Commercial 1 Zone (C1Z).

The Minister also directed that Greater Dandenong City Council issue a planning permit (PLN21/0713) for a two lot subdivision, construction of a mixed use building, reduction in car parking requirements and removal of native vegetation.

Current Status

The combined Amendment C233gdan to the Greater Dandenong Planning and Planning Permit PLN21/0713 granted under Section 96i of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 was approved by the Minister for Planning and gazetted on 8 June 2023.
