Dandenong Train Station
Viachroma injects a much needed burst of impulsive energy and bright luminous colour into the glass overpass at Dandenong Station.
Viachroma alters the experience of crossing the overpass – once an empty interval – into a light and colour filled journey.
The abstract strokes and iridescent colours are illuminated differently according to the weather and the time of day.
The morning sun and late afternoon glare create shifts in the work and provide a constantly changing transit space for people to move through.
Viachroma was launched on 15 December 2009 by Member for Dandenong John Pandazopoulos.
