Bring your family along to plant some seedlings at Somerfield Reserve (opposite Auburn Avenue) in Keysborough.
Traditional Custodians and representatives for the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation will welcome attendees onto Bunurong Country and share a Smoking Ceremony.
Come along and connect with nature, support the local environment and help us to create habitat for wildlife and future generations. Plus, you'll enjoy a free lunch.
Make sure to bring your own water bottle, gardening gloves and wear clothes that you won't mind getting dirty.
Enter the reserve via Eastbury Street (opposite the corner of Fernleaf Avenue) or Westwood Boulevard and follow the signs to the planting site. Street parking is available in the surrounding streets.
