Pedestrian Lane off Douglas Street, Noble Park

‘Colour Connection’ is a large-scale pavement mural by multidisciplinary street artist and illustrator Happy Decay – Bjarni Wark. The new work can be found in Noble Park, Douglas Street.

Extending the length of a 46-metre-long existing pedestrian laneway which connects to the retail hub of Noble Park, the artwork has re-invigorated the space, making it more accessible and inviting for visitors.

The artist has used bold colours and shapes in a playful way, to welcome pedestrians to enjoy the experience of moving from one place to another. The mural explores themes of diversity and inclusivity with its use of different colours, bold shapes and patterns connecting to form a shared path.

This artwork been commissioned as part the Noble Park Revitalisation Initiative with funding from the Victorian Government.
