We Built this City celebrates the stories of some of Greater Dandenong’s favourite heritage sites as chosen by our community.
Dandenong Market has shaped the unique market town character of Dandenong for almost 160 years. Stallholders and local businesses actively sold produce and homewares with ‘market-day’ being enjoyed by town and country folk alike. Today, Dandenong Produce Market remains a busy, vibrant and valued asset in the heart of multicultural Dandenong.
