We Built this City celebrates the stories of some of Greater Dandenong’s favourite heritage sites as chosen by our community.
International Harvester was a major American corporation that manufactured motor trucks, tractors, farm machinery and construction equipment in Dandenong. A major employer and hugely successful company in the 1970s, financial losses in the 1980s saw IVECO take over and rebrand the company. In mid-2022 IVECO Australia closed its Dandenong Plant.
