Council sought feedback from the community which helped shape the final design for Clow Street Reserve at 86-88 Clow Street, Dandenong.
There was strong support to make improvements to enhance the landscaping. The concept plan has been revised in response to the feedback.
The key elements of the revised plan are:
- improved landscaping, retaining the existing trees
- a new fence on the Clow Street frontage with two pedestrian entry points
- removal of the weed species Agapanthus sp.
- new garden beds with a selection of native and exotic species
- a new coloured concrete loop path
- park bench seats and drinking fountain
- the majority of the reserve retained as an open grassed area for passive recreation
- new tree planting.
