Council sought feedback from the community which helped shape the design for the new playground at Noble Park Reserve.
There was strong support to upgrade the playground and provide more equipment for children to play on.
The playground has been designed to encourage active, challenging, imaginative and social play for both younger and older children.
The final concept plan is aligned with:
- the allocated budget
- a Neighbourhood level playground.
The key elements of the playground are:
- play activity unit including a spiral enclosed slide, junior slide, monkey bars, rope tunnel, activity panels and a glide ride
- swings
- basket swing
- 360-degree rotating swing
- bouncing and rotating spinner
- rope net climbing
- trampoline
- spring rockers
- shade sails.
