Irrigation and Drainage Renewal on Oval 1 and 2
Council will be replacing all existing irrigation and drainage for Oval 1 and 2 as they are at the end of service life and requires renewal.
Timeline and next steps
Oval 1 (Paddy O'Donohue Oval):
- Oval 1 will re-open in July 2024, with the exception of the cricket turf table which will re-open in October 2024.
Oval 2:
- Oval 2 will re-open in October 2024 to allow further time for the turf to settle and re-grow.
