Gemma is a local school student who thoroughly enjoys dance, cross country and meeting with up her friends at a local park to play tiggy, frisbee, basketball, whatever they can find to be active.
Getting outside and playing with her sister and friends is important to Gemma, who would much prefer to be outside than inside in front of a screen and it's this passion and enjoyment that Gemma wishes to share with everyone in her time as an ambassador.
‘It's important to be active. You can kick a ball, throw a frisbee or a ride a bike. It helps you to be social and play with your friends. It also helps with your body and mind.’
