Public Art Installation

  • A new public art installation depicting large community lanterns now brightens up Copas Park. These curious, playful and enticing structures are creatures housing an ever-changing gallery of small artworks. They are imagined beings made only to be filled with the imagination of others.

To protect, illuminate and showcase the creativity of the community for the community. Their hand-crafted legs bring unique personalities, while their bodies are open and transparent, ready to be filled with new ideas, inspirations and creations. Visit them often and discover what new stories they may have to share with you.  Looking forward to displaying some local history in the community lanterns.

Colour Our Street

  • Splashes of colour and flowers in bloom will brighten up our village streets and residents’ gardens.  Community have enjoyed Colour Our Street in many ways over past couple of months with outdoor painting workshops, community laneway painting and video production as well as the pop up artists murals in Buckley Lane.  Next time you are in the area schedule a trip to both Buckley Lane and the laneway adjacent to Noble Park Public Hall and take a selfie with Noble Park's newest artworks.

Colour Our Zebra Crossings

  • On Saturday 20 April 2024 Council ran an event to paint a colourful zebra crossing. Check out the colourful artwork on Douglas Street in Noble Park.

Colour our Laneway Bollards

  • St Anthony's Primary School and one of Council's talented volunteers are collaborating in the design, creation and delivery of 2 Guardians to look over our Carpet Mural - keep an eye in this area late in May.  Watch the transformation of two of our laneway bollards as they stand tall and colourful, enhanced by the projection of video.

Paint your Story in Our Street

  • A very special carpet has landed in the Noble Park Public Hall laneway.  Local families were engaged with the Artists from AKC ArtsBus, volunteers and council staff in co-design and drafting stages of creating their unique story on our vibrant laneway.  Families have painted their story through use of pictures, patterns and colour which now weave together the many cultures and experiences in Noble Park.

Visit the Noble Park Public Hall laneway between Buckley Street and the Frank Street Car Park and check it out.
